Fanatical Attention to Detail.
Decades of Steve Cassidy
Hi there!
I learned composition and color from my dad and my brother. My dad did touchup work for Glamour, Good Housekeeping, Redbook, Seventeen and Cosmopolitan magazines. My brother could draw any portrait or landscape. He would have been a great realism tattoo artist but followed a different path.
It's rumored that President Nixon once stated, "I don't read Playboy. I just look at the pictures." From then on, I was hooked. By 1980 I had made enough money to buy my first professional camera, the Nikon F3. My first shoot was the Indy 500 Time Trials from Pit Row. I was fourteen years old.
I haven't always been a professional photographer but photography has been a big part of my life throughout my many careers including Navy EOD, UBS Financial, Black Water, State Department and EOD Gear. My travels have taken me to some fantastic and interesting places and I've been fortunate enough to have a camera at most of them.
When you are paying good money for photographs, your project deserves the attention to detail required to disarm a bomb. As the founder and CEO of EOD Gear, I understand how important images, messaging and ROI are to your professional projects.
Whether you are just beginning your Due Diligence or looking for a replacement to the ordinary, I'd like to hear about your needs and get you on the path to having images that make you look great!
